1. Sayılabilen tekil isimlerin önüne "a, an" gelebilir ve çoğul yapılabilir. A cat - - cats A problem - - problems An orange - - oranges An umbrella - - umbrellas 2. Sayılamayan isimlerin önüne "a, an" getirilmez ve çoğul yapılmaz. Bu isimler yalın halde kullanılır. Özne olarak kullanıldıklarında, sayılamayan bu isimlerden sonra fiiller tekil gibi işlem görür. I don't have sugar in my tea. There is some Money in my pocket. I like eating ice-cream. Would you like to have a piece of cake. 3. Sayılabilen çoğul isimlerle ve sayılamayan isimlerle SOME ve ANY kullanılabilir. Do you need any sugar? No, I don't. I have got some sugar. Are there any students in the classroom? Yes, there are. There are some students in the classroom.
